Thanks to recent teasers on social media, fans of Mortal Kombat 1 are speculating that another character from the game will be announced soon. A leaked roster from June, which included names from beloved Mortal Kombat titles such as Deception, Deadly Alliance, and Armageddon, indicates that some of these characters may already be confirmed for Mortal Kombat 1. Past rumors have suggested that NetherRealm may draw from the mid-2000s 3D titles to bring back warriors. With the game set to launch this September, there is still ample time to unveil more fighters. The most recent Mortal Kombat 1 trailer showcased the ancient Lin Kuei clan, featuring beloved characters like Smoke, Rain, Cyrax, and Sektor. These fighters may either be fully playable combatants or supporting members of Mortal Kombat 1's new Kameo roster. NetherRealm has already confirmed the inclusion of numerous classic Mortal Kombat fighters in their upcoming sequel/reboot. One popular contender is Ashrah, who gained fame during the game's 3D era.
